Wyoming and big game hunting has long been a family tradition. Outfitting isn’t just a job for us; it’s a way of life that we enjoy. We understand the personal efforts and details that go into a good hunt and do everything in our ability to see that our guests have an enjoyable, successful, and safe experience with us.

Trefren Outfitters is an honest, hardworking outfit that strives to provide the highest quality hunts and outdoor experiences available in the Rocky Mountains. We have a very good percentage of trophy class animals in our hunt areas and our goal is to send every hunter home with the trophy they dream of. However, we cannot guarantee to satisfy everyone, there are too many elements to decide that. We do feel there are many things we can guarantee; good hospitality, a clean camp, excellent country cooking, good horses, and experienced guides.

We are members of the Wyoming Outfitters Association, the National Rifle Association, Safari Club International, Foundation for North American Wild Sheep, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Mule Deer Foundation. We give our full support to these organizations for the wise management and ethical fair chase hunting practices they endorse.
